Over several years, SCOSS has successfully supported two pledging rounds for Open Science Infrastructures to help the beneficiary organisations become more sustainable. SCOSS are about to announce a third cycle and find themselves in the position of both looking back at what they have achieved and thinking forward, about SCOSS’s future. “What’s next?” they ask.

Before formulating a strategy for the upcoming years, they are seeking the views of their stakeholders, as well as the wider research community. How can SCOSS evolve in order to best support Open Science Infrastructure? What role should SCOSS play in the scholarly communications ecosystem? Which services should they provide that would be of use for the community?

The SCOSS strategy survey gives the community a chance to help shape SCOSS’s future and users and supporters of DOAJ, an original SCOSS beneficiary, are encouraged to take part. Your responses will affect the strategic direction of SCOSS and help them to optimize their efforts.

Please submit your responses by 5th July 2021.
