This is a guest post from Bernie Folan, the Communications, Engagement and Outreach Manager for OASPA.

The OASPA (Open Access Scholarly Publishing Association) annual conference takes place online from 20-22 September. There is an excellent program and, as with previous years, attendees can look forward to meeting participants from around the world. You can register at https://oaspa2022.eventbrite.co.uk.

The 2022 online conference, ‘Beyond Open Access’, will encourage participants to think Beyond Open Access to equitable open scholarship and science practices. It will address many timely and fundamental topics relating to open scholarly communication to help address current and future challenges. The event will include keynotes, an extended opening discussion, and panels, as well as lightning poster talks. Attendees and speakers will also have access to a dedicated conference Slack space to meet, ask questions and discuss the sessions.

The conference will interest many working in scholarly communication and OASPA have decided that cost should not be a barrier to participation. If you are unfunded and would like to attend, please contact events@oaspa.org for the waiver code.
